I feel annual and perpetual calendars have lost their niche as high complications given the democratization of these complications to relatively low price points by other Swiss manufacturers.
At this price point, the movement is ordinary and I don’t consider the dial classy regardless of the effort behind it. Not sure who the intended audience is, but I’m afraid JLC have caught Vacheronitis with regards to their pricing strategy here.
Still waiting for JLC to redeem themselves with something (anything) that as a lover of the brand I will even remotely consider purchasing. And this was my favorite brand 10-15 years ago.

I had the chance to try out this watch at my local JLC boutique yesterday. The dial is very attractive, if a bit too flashy for my taste as the guiloche and enamel gives off a "disco-ball" effect. However, I am disappointed with the finishing on the movem...

An exceptional piece that demonstrates what they are capable of, which I hope can trickle down into more interesting designs and small complications that they did so well in the past. The G5 is unobtainable for me, but a dream to be sure! They need to sna...
