1 you get what is often a more robust (read shockproof) movement. 2 you often get an updated size case. For me 37-39 looks fine but I can never make a 32-36 look right for my wrist.

I hate apples spellcheck I think from a tribute sense. It’s logical to take older smaller format designs and reissue them at 38-40mm For some of these brands, there is a ton of material that could be recycled from a design perspective.
