Here, to avoid any confusion, we will discuss and share some thoughts, informations and pictures about vintage Jaeger Chronographs, no Lecoultre nor Jaeger Lecoultre, just Jaeger signed chronographs. A precision, here. The Jaeger and Jaeger Lecoultre sign...

Oh my lord 😳😳 Is it wrong for me to covet so many of them at the same time 😂🤣🤦‍♂️

I should not have clicked on this post frérot 🤤

Yes you did. The problem is that I have so many other treasures occupying my mind at the same time...

not just watches but pens, cars, military and civilian leather jackets, etc... Sometimes it is NOT helpful to have multiple passions as you get easily distracted 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤪

LeCoultre 7090

Loved the article. I have a 1940s LeCoultre Chrono, ref 7090, with 285 movement. Have never seen such a comprehensive view into these models. For the 7090, the only one I’ve ever seen online was with a Cartier dial. Mine was redialed at some point in time...

Thanks for your feedback.

I saw some of them in a vintage catalogue and immediately knew these are very special. I very much like the design language too, i clearly see the inspiration for some recent Longines and AP reeditions looking similar to some of the watches you posted her...

Very interesting write up, Nico

I’ve to admit, though knowing Jaeger as a watch, most of the time I see / read Jaeger, I must think about gauges in cars cockpit. Thanks for the education. George

Nicolas, you are taking us to school again, thank you !

with a lot of killer chrono....

Where could these watches be found ?

 By: karmin : July 10th, 2020-01:49
Thanks a lot for the great pictures, some are indeed very tempting ! Just a quick question : do you know where these Jaeger (only) chronos were sold ? By the same ADs selling also Jaeger-LeCoultre watches ?? Was that even possible ? Re. the scarcity of ca...

In France and in Europe, Karmin. I saw several which were sold in France, through different ADs. They were published by JLC, but you are right, the documents are pretty rare on these ones.

Hence the challenge to find them, take pictures of them, and trying to find some informations on them. It took me some time to gather all these pictures, indeed. Best, Nicolas

Let me join you in this delightful post
