Sunday Feast: Jaeger Lecoultre Grande Tradition Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar.

Oct 25, 2020,04:20 AM

Beautiful on the recto with its superb guilloché blue enamel dial:

As well on the verso, which proves that an automatic movement can also be nice, very nice to see:

This Master Grande Tradition is a masterpiece. I love these blue gongs a lot!  And one thing which cannot be appreciated from these pictures, the sound of the minute repeater, very convincing.

One more in the dream category... With just one reserve: I would have preferred to see the years window located in the center of the dial... But I can live with that!  wink

Best,

Nicolas

Definitely an amazing watch, the dial and movement are exceptional. I just wished we could see more from JLC besides these uber haute complication pieces...

Amazing piece.. Compelling appeal, including this blue guilloché enamel a great movement shot.. And that is even without hearing the MR’s sound..

Truly like that piece; Yes, high horology but still with a balanced appearance and not overall too “blingy”.. Thx for the superb pics

Very nice piece...

...but is it really an automatic movement?? Is the rotor under the chiming complication??

just saw it on the JLC-Website...

...didn‘t realize this before. Oh my god, how gorgeous!! And the gongs even on the dialside.... And all this in a fairly small case, 43mm and 13,7 mm; that‘s really not much for such complication. I‘m flabbergasted... Congrats again, JLC!!
