I think they even had some special editions for Miami and seemed an important location..

I wonder however if we will see more boutiques following suit in light of current events. Not necessarily JLC, but boutiques from every manufacturer. Between COVID and e-commerce brick and mortar stores are hurting.

I have never been to this boutique in the Miami Design district, but despite the Covid-19 situation, the Miami design district in the past few years has seen many high-end watch boutiques open there, and reportedly is a lovely high traffic luxury watch de... 

And what’s more, miami is the gateway to Latin America and the design district is filled with wealthy tastemakers from there. It’s a huge marketing give-up to pull the boutique out of that location that extends far beyond the US. To put things in perspect... 

When I was there a couple of weeks ago the manager of the JLC boutique told me that a few other boutiques were closing as well.

that JLC does not enough to stand out and has long lost the battle to Patek Rolex and Royal Oak.

And we see JLC make strong comeback. Or perhaps it’s too late.

but right now I cant find anything in their collection I am willing to spend my hard earned money on. It has been like that fo a while. Since Lambert moved on I feel it has gone down hill.

However my confidence in their current management is tiny. To do strong products you need a strong vision. They haven’t shown anything yet.

Let's hope things change and the direction of JLC improves. As you stated, management will need to have a clear vision of what they want to do and accomplish in the near future as well as in the long term 👍

The virus crisis finds JLC in a weak position without new ideas and fresh, innovative watches with strong character such as ExtremeLabs,AMVOX Duometres,Compressors and so on...They must act.. really hurts.

Since 2012 I haven’t seen something really cool in the affordable segment. It’s almost a I wonder if the leadership of the brand has realize the urgency of the situation. I really want to spend my money on a jlc but it’s like they don’t want them. ... 

I also regret they don't use the same creativity on relatively affordable and innovative watches than on their high end watches... Thanks for your input, my friend. Best, Nicolas

it is getting close for me with JLC. I absolutely LOVE my EL2, Duometre à Chronograph, Duometre QL, NSA, several Reversos, etc...but as explained I have not seen any JLC I have wanted to buy since, except for the Gyro 5. I have purchased so many watches f... 

It is a huge powerful machine. It has the technical knowhow, it has a hightly sophisticated production facility, it even has highly specialized artisan craftsmen. What it doesn’t seem to be having is someone with the vision of where to sail this impressiv... 

The pandemic has seemed to change how people perceive watches and how they want to purchase them. Social media continues to manipulate the opinions of what is currently cool or hot. If JLC does not react quickly, they will continue to lose market share an...

I always viewed that boutique as a centerpiece for Watches

The NYC boutique is pleasant and the staff are great but it feels a decade or so out of time. A central glass case to stand around (stools were added) and desk or two and some seating hidden in the back with a periphery of museum like wall fixtures. Compa... 

I spoke to the boutique manager when I stopped by a couple of weeks ago, and he told me that unfortunately they will be closing. Sad indeed as I have been a client and friend of the boutique for several years. Most of the sales associates had already left...

Sad news for the staff and for watch afficionados. I like a lot of the current JLC offering. I enjoy the timeless elegance of their simpler designs, and their price points seem very fair. The Master Ultra Thin and Master redesigns over the past couple of ... 

They really should consider offering reasonable discounts to make the boutiques and retail outlets competitive. Otherwise, all the inventory just winds up being sold by grays at huge discounts.
