Jaeger Lecoultre Tribute to Geophysic: Platinum, Steel, or Rose Gold? Which one is your favorite?

 By: amanico : December 6th, 2018-13:24
Here is the picture I took at the manufacture during the unveiling of the Tribute To Geophysic. From left to right: Steel, Rose Gold and Platinum. I like this watch a lot, for what it is, a very cool watch. I have hard time choosing one them. I would say ...

The Titanium version :-)) [nt]

Purist 1958 Tantalum/Titanium : Blue face Cross (Steel 1958) Dial no Date. Or make it even more exciting and unique : JLC Purist GMT Geophysic Tantalum/Titanium : Cross Dial (1958 Steel) with GMT 24 hours Bezel and orange hand marker

Yes it would..

I like the warmth of the rosegold

Rose gold. The size is perfect for this metal. Also the lume colour is better suited to the rose gold version, imho.

That‘s why i chose the rose gold version. The only rose gold watch in my collection.

Same!

I think the yellow lume on the hands looks a little awkward against the white metals, but fits in beautifully on the rose.

Steel with the Pt dial.

All pieces are beautiful... of course! Best regards!

Legitimate Milgauss competitor

 By: armored.wrist : December 6th, 2018-17:31
JLC should bring back the steel model as a regular production piece on a bracelet with a black dial, and fill in the indices with lume. It would KILL as a Milgauss competitor, IMO.

For the Tributes, it will be the P

because of the dial, not the case material cheers

They are all special

 By: Gelato Monster : December 6th, 2018-20:56
IMHO the most gorgeous is the Platinum

Thanks, G.M. [nt]

I am pulling towards the simplicity of the platinum dial.

However i am missing the cross symbolic of the classic geophysic Lost Bil

Thanks, Bill. [nt]

Dial customization

 By: Saz : December 6th, 2018-21:22
Steel with the 3/9 and geophysic markings, Or the pt with the crosshair. But I own the steel, since I couldn’t get a hold of the pt one. But the original 1958 could be an option😉.

Pt for the dial....

Normally not but here RG is too good to refuse ! Best, Mahesh.,

I also feel the lume on the hands

 By: mahesh : December 7th, 2018-13:32
goes well with the golden hues on the dial & numerals.
