Oldies: Jaeger Lecoultre Master Grand Tourbillon Continents.

Jul 28, 2017,07:00 AM

2009 was THE year of Enamel, for Jaeger Lecoultre.

Among the enamel wonders, there was one special watch, the Master Grand Tourbillon Continents.

One series of 20 pieces in each metal ( Rose Gold, Yellow Gold and Platinum ), for each continent.

43 mm case.

Here, the Asia version.

What I would have LOVED is a plain dial and the Tourbillon on the back. Not that I am australian and that I hate to see a tourblllon eating my continent, just because I am a big fan of enamel dials and I prefer plain dials.

Or totally open dials.

Other than that, this dial is a marvel.

Best,

Nicolas
