Oldie but Goldie: Jaeger Lecoultre Tribute to Reverso 1948.
Sep 26, 2020,11:09 AM
Not that old, as this watch was issued in 2013, if my memory serves me well.
What do I like on this Reverso? The Thin case ( 7, 2 mm ), and... The dial, which has a very pleasant depth.
One of the forgotten Reverso stars.
Best,
Nicolas

Rectangular sub seconds > circular. But do you prefer with or without a seconds hand on a Reverso? That is the question! I suppose a “sports” watch should have a seconds hand. But is a Reverso still a sports watch these days?
Depends on the occasion

I too think that this is a star. Reversos always have a place in my collection. They are iconic, unique and ever so timeless.

Thanks for posting Nicolas. I do prefer the applied hour markers over Arabic numerals on a Reverso. Personally, I think I slightly prefer the sunburst dials and small seconds on the current Tribute models, even though they are a touch thicker than this mo...

...a similar Reverso with a mother of pearl dial? (I have a bit of a mother of pearl fetish, I'm afraid).
