No sync between the two hour hands?!
Do you mean that they don’t go on top of each other or that they don’t move in the same rhythm, separated by whole hours?
The offset function of the second hour hand is when you pull the crown out one step (normally date), two steps and you set the (main) time.
If the hour hands are on top of each other but separated by 12 hours in time difference the AM/PM and date function might give you a strange outcome.

Please follow the following guidelines. Give the crown around 50 turns. Then, don't wear the watch, let it quiet without moving it, and check how many hours it will work. My guess is that you didin't wind it enough, and that 5 hours of wearing may largely...

Thanks guys for the responses, I didn't give it 50-100 turns when I first got the watch as the instruction manuel said to turn a couple of time and then wear it. I have wound it now to approx 60 turns and will see if that makes a difference. Now I need to...
