My mother’s favourite clock - Jaeger Recital 130
Through the years I have shown my mother various watches and clocks.
Quite many, only within Jaeger-LeCoultre it must been over hundred.
As my mother never were into watches she always said things like “hm”, “aha”, “ok”…
But one day I show this Jaeger alarm clock shaped as a candle holder…
The Jaeger Recital 130:
8 days movement, 24h alarm (not 12h as normal alarm clocks) and candle holder.
The backside is self-explanatory:
Top winder – clockwise you wind the alarm, anti-clockwise you wind the movement.
To the left – alarm on/off.
Centre – set time.
Right – set alarm.
The small screw at the bottom right is for adjusting the movement.

Love at first sight! So of course, I got her one to have in my parents living room.
