Master Class JLC

 

Nicolas and BHK9,

I had a chance to attend their Master Class last October in Mexico City.

In that ocassion we partly dismantled the 875 caliber, from the Reverso Grande Date, and naturally put it all back together. Quite astonishing to see all the detail JLC puts into parts of the movement even though they may not ever be seen by its owner.

Overall a great 3 hour experience in which I got to play with a great machine and put my hand-eye coordination to the test.

I already told my girlfriend that a JLC is in my near future, as a ¨thank you¨ gesture for having invited me to the class. LOL. Of course she then gives me a your crazy - go buy me an engagement ring instead look!!! LOL!

I had the opportunity, this morning, to take a pic of the Cal 846...The Cal of the Reverso Classique... Please, have a look at it, and you'll see that it's not badly finished... Quite interesting! I spent half an hour with the Watchmaker to see this littl...

Nicolas, Thanks for the picture. Well,i event handled it before live.I was assembling the 8days reverso movement which is quite simillar to this in one of their class here in Kuala LUmpur last year. All i can say is it was a very memorable experince!And i...

Wasn't possible for me when they offered me to attend...And I regret it, ans I think that's an unique experience, and maybe it will allow us to think twice before criticizing the Watchmaker's Work... This is indeed a sumerb movement, well finished, quite ...
