JLC Geophysic

I hadn't worn this one for quite some months, but have worn it every day for the last 2 weeks.

Still a pleasure on the wrist.

A really cool world timer with a nice seconde morte complication.

Overall a good size at 41.5 mm, even if I would have preferred 1.0 mm less in diameter; but the diameter bears a good proportion to the height, which is 11.7 mm.

The brushed and polished surfaces add interest and character, as does the caseback.

I wear it on a supple blue nubuck leather strap, 21 x 18 mm, with a JLC tang buckle that adds a very nice upscale character to the piece.

Pictured here on an ancient map of Burgundy from an atlas a few hundred years old (converted to a picture that I have in my dining room). Forgive my amateurish pics...

And great choice with the strap.

Thanks, rip9er. Choice of strap is key.

Took me a while to choose one I was happy with.

I also chose something similar 😁
