Yes indeed

But pls make sure the watch is fully wound. I believe amplitude drops when the power reserve drops.

Also certain positions affect accuracy E.g. crown down, face up, face down etc. Some watches are quirky, my Tudor becomes very slightly less accurate when placed crown down, but normalizes in other positions.

That’s why I use a watch winder which rotates the pieces in a few positions overnight when I don’t wear them. A watch winder kinda functions like an external tourbillon because it averages out errors in positions.

JLC Accuracy

 By: Sportster : September 9th, 2020-10:08
Hi all, I find myself intrigued by jlc. Accuracy criteria has always been on my checklist. Does anyone know if jlc guarantees any level of accuracy in their current and/or recently discontinued models? The new master control Chrono is quite awesome. Cheer...

I don't know about any guaranties but...

Every JLC I've had was consistently +8 to +10 seconds per day regardless of model and/or movement.

Are you happy with that performance level?

Being one of the leaders in movement technology I assumed that they would offer somewhat greater accuracy levels. They sure do manufacture stunning watches. Thanks for sharing!

Yes I am because that's better than the average watch performance

Also, I'd rather have a watch that advances a bit rather than run slow. Lately, I've bought a couple that did that and it's quite annoying to me.

That’s what I would expect

Right on par with Rolex is what I expect from them and they should be bragging about it. For some, accuracy in their mechanical watches is not important, but for many buyers and collectors, accuracy may be at the top of the list. I love bragging about the...

Comparing mine, they are dead on, consistently

The timekeeping of the dial on the front of my Reverso exactly matches the timekeeping of the dial on the back, second for second. Talk about consistency! 🤷‍♂️ 🤦🏼‍♂️ Just kidding. Relative to an outside standard, I have no idea. I’ve never worn one more t...

I know the JLCs I have had/have alway ran flawlessly.

I know they do that 1000 hour testing or what not, but don’t think they submit to COSC.

I’m going to get one

I love their watches.

Which one? [nt]

It’s think it has to be either

New Master Control Chrono OR New Memovox timer Blue dial This would normally be a simple decision for me - the chrono, it’s nearly perfect. But things change a bit once you’ve listened to the delicious sound of the alarm in the new memovox. Problem is I w...

+1

I have one JLC now, and used to have 2 more. Their accuracy was good. I have a habit of setting my watches to atomic time and attempting to see variations. Nico’s estimates are about the same I measured (in a caveman manner). But that being said, the watc...

Agreed

Btw that’s what makes the new Rolex Sub and OP’s so sweet. Increased power reserve with maintained -2 second accuracy regardless of remaining power reserve - all without having to increase the size of the barrel. Increase in reserve comes nearly completel...

Was one of the, if not the most, accurate watches I own! Almost spot on after days.
