Jaeger-Lecoultre Vintage Polaris 1968 / Navy SEALs Alarm.

We had a recent discussion on the Omega Forum about brands and their soft spot to re edit some of tier icons.

Jaeger-Lecoultre takes three different ways: The Re Editions, even if it's been a long time they didn't make them, since the TT Geophysic, to be precise, the innovative watches ( see Gyrotourbillon Five, the MGT Celestial Tourbillon Orbital, the Master Chronograph Calendar, among many others ), and, in between, new watches but linked with the past.

Here is a side by side picture showing this last path, the Polaris 1968 and the NAVY SEALs Alarm.

The inspiration is quite obvious isn't it?

Best,

Nicolas
