Jaeger Lecoultre Tribute To Polaris 1968. A pleasure watch.
Aug 05, 2022,15:36 PM
The vintage Polaris 1968 was with me in Spain, in the early days of July.
Time to give a short wrist time to the Tribute To Polaris 1968.
The Tribute has a great advantage over the vintage: You can swim with it without fear to ruin it.
THAT is important.
Best,
Nicolas

Out there. I remembered your reviews of the 1968 tribute, the platinum version, and the odd lume version of a piece too.

The new Memovox Mariners. It could have been done on purpose. If only I could wind back time, 1 year back. I could have gotten my hands on the orange hand Memovox Mariner. Dang!!
Absolutely lovely! (and useful)

I was in the JLC Boutique today and I'm probably going to get a memovox as well as my next watch... Extremely useful complication.
If i could turn back time

I’d buy the Polaris Mariner (defect lume) in a heartbeat. Just the non-alarm version will be great. I hope u see the green polaris too. The gradient looks amazing.
Imagine green juxtaposed with yellow

Like blue juxtaposed with red. A Polaris Memovox alarm with a green dial and some yellow accents will be nice a’la jlc navy seals incursion edition nice! Ooolala Now, maybe u’d have sweet dreams of this tonight

I wondered why did didn’t release an alarm version because it is a cosmetic change only. Love the gradient. My eyes adore this green, and also Ted Lo’s FF Mokarran green, the most, out of all the greenies out there recently.
A pleasure watch!! You describe the Polaris with the exact words!

No better way to describe it. And a great shot to share it. How nice you could take several favorites watches with you to enjoy during your holidays and including this superb Tribute. Here is mine (with the so called “wrong dial”) saying hello! Abrazos am...
