For me the JLC has a harmony of dial and case that gives it an overall warmer appearance. The dial and case of the 5247 seems somewhat colder, perhaps because of the dominance of the enamel dial. Both are killer timepieces but I suspect there are extremel... 

These two are definitely in the first category.

The gray/silver dial of the JLC is an amazing match with the PT. And the Breguet too, is wonderful. The dial is so unique with a lot of charm, (the exact same as my 5247 in RG). I am glad to see you had a productive summit. And did you discuss watches by ...

But I think you’d still need a Rolex/random diver/G-Shock somewhere in the mix. But then again it might be wonderful to experience one or both of these as daily wearers, requisite scars notwithstanding..?
