Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso Gran Sport Chronograph, Steel. Black or white?

Nov 25, 2021,19:10 PM

There is a Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso I love a lot, from the early 2000's, the Gran Sport Chronograph.

Small, but not that much, a bit bulky, but what a character!

When the cool factor meets horological refinement.

Indeed, let's not forget that this is one of the most refined chronograph! Manual winding, rectangular movement, retrograde minutes chronograph... What more to ask for?

Amazing watch!

But tough question. Hmmm. I think I prefer the black. But there's an elegance in the white one..... Not easy.

Black for me. Uber cool!

I like both versions with a slight preference for the black dial due to the Arabic numerals. I'd take either one in a heartbeat. M4

I’m a black dial fan

But let’s not forget that they also made the white dial with black Arabic numerals. I don’t personally have a picture, but it can be easily found with a web search. That one is pretty sweet too. Thanks, Brian

This one?

The original ones had tritium, yes

I think they had moved away by the time they switched to the printed numerals, and some early examples may have been replaced in service.

 By: amanico : November 28th, 2021-22:19

The black one definitely!

 By: eklektik : November 28th, 2021-22:17
Is it still possible to find straps for these? That would be my slight reserve on purchasing one. The movement is impressive! Best, E.

Good to know! Thanks!
