Jaeger Lecoultre Polaris Automatique ( 2018 ) and Polaris II Ref E 870 ( 1970 ).

A side by side picture I took almost two years ago: 




Funnily, Jaeger Lecoultre seems to have taken the inspiration of the fumé dial from this Polaris II, which came a bit later with the Polaris Geographique World Time, in 2018, and the Polaris Date, this year. 

Still, this Polaris Automatique is cool looking.

Coming back to today's watches, the Polaris Automatic performs well from what I heard. It is not the case of each model of the collection which is for me too large. Thanks for the picture. Fx

That Polaris II is amazing. Was lucky to see it at the JLC factory in there museum.
