Jaeger Lecoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique ( 2016 ).

Here is a watch I didn't see for a while, posted or in the real life, the Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique.

Issued in 2016, it is based on the Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique Perpetual Calendar, but without the perpetual calendar.

The case, made in platinum, is the same, and has a diameter of 42 mm for a height of 13, 2 mm.

The silver grained dial is eye catching, and the Tourbillon is the same than the one in the perpetual calendar, with  the cylindrical blued balance spring.

The Calibre is identical to the MGT Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Cylindrique movement ( Cal 985 ), but without the perpetual calendar module, and its reference is the Cal 995, with 275 parts, beating at the same pace, 28, 800 vibrations per hour, and the same soleillé decoration.

Here are the pictures I took at the Manufacture two weeks ago.

How do you like it?

Best,

Nicolas

Everything is great for me...

except 42 mm and automatic movement.

As for the automatic movement, I tend to agree. For watches of this level, unless we have an extraordinary automatic movement such as the one of the Hybris Mechanica 11...

I prefer manual... I will soon post something which is the perfect example of that. Thanks for your input, my dear Ronald. Best, Nicolas

Looks really great!
