Jaeger Lecoultre Master Compressor Navy SEALs Chronograph, in rose gold.

A strange beast, in gold, for such a watch, I must admit.

Here is a photo I could take some ten years ago, in a proper environment.

Cool, or odd?

It is up to you to decide.

I always thought....

of it simply as a very cool tool watch. I never thought it was odd for it to be a 'fancy' tool watch, plenty even fancier tool watches to be found....

I don't recall seeing any....

in person, but from the photos, the rose gold version speaks to me more than the coated titanium or whichever material was applied for the other versions....

As you know

Omega does the same thing with the PO Chrono (which I own in steel) and find equally distasteful. Interesting to compare the two watches thoughā€¦one of the best head to heads IMO! ...

Well, I love my titanium version on....

articulated rubber, but the rose version is very nice. If I recall correctly there were only 300 in rose? However, after almost 13 years (got mine in '09), it still is my "beater" for anything beach/water related. I would have loved it if it were affordab...

500 for both Gold and DLC/Titanium

I like it! Initially saw this as a monstrosity but I've warmed to it

If you want a big bling black and gold watch, this seems like a great value. I particularly am enamored with the rubber coated gold bracelet where most other brands would give you an inexpensive rubber strap. If I ever started wanting a gold AP ROO brick ...

A nice pictā€¦ which was, I presume, caught in "The reservoir" could have been more nearby since you did not dare to dive šŸ˜¬

For my part, I prefer the steel versionā€¦. gold diving watches are kind of nonsense to me. It's personal but the inconsistency bothers me. Best Ƙ

LOL. Is that from you? :)))

I think the original marketing of the line around record breaking Belgian Freediver Patrick Musimu, made more sense to be honest. That was pre-Seals release I believe, and he later associated himself with the Sector brand. His exploits tied in with the pu...

Itā€™s actually sitting next to me now. Coincidentally, I thought it needed to get some more wrist time.

Hereā€™s a couple šŸ‘Š

Well.. For me itā€™s sort of odd And cool factor..

Not really the epitome of a diving watch, more a bit for the odd man out.. Guess, Iā€™d rather stick to a Titanium type.. My little 2 cents.. Yet, an interesting share, Thx ! Best, hs.

True!
