Jaeger Lecoultre Duomètre Spherotourbillon Moon. A killing detail.

We cannot say that the Duometre Spherotourbillon is not a great watch. The Dual wind concept and its multi axis tourbillon is something breathtaking.

In total honesty, I cannot say that it is my favorite Duometre. I find that the multi axis tourbillon is more interesting in the Gyrotourbillon " line ", and, most of all, I am not fan of tourbillons which make a hole in the dial, which is the case of the Duometre à Spherotourbillon, at the contrary of the Gyrotourbillon.

Still, in this picture, there is a killing detail which is clearly visible.

No, not the hyper accurate moon phase, nor the " stairs " at each side of the Spherotourbillon...

No, for me this is the Blue Cylindrical Spiral... Which is exquisite.

Here again:

Enjoy,

Nicolas

except for me, this is my favourite Jaeger of all time especially in rose gold. Thank you for posting!

My pleasure, Sham. [nt]

I actually like the version

without the moonphase more but unfortunately, it is still way out of my budget. I mean if given a choice between this and a Patek minute repeater, I might choose the latter

I am sure it isn't

but it is in the same rarefied territory that one can only dream of!

Wow Nico!

That is quite a watch!! Thanks fort the video - it sounds great but maybe on the thick side. Astonishing movement though!!

Perhaps the thickness of the case

... Living art. The tremblage finish on the dial is magnificent.
