The Duometre chronograph is the best use for the two barrel Duometre movement design. Moon phase, IMHO, belongs to the perpetual calendar watches. Cheers, Nilo

and a big big plus (which is a big con for the chronograph) is that the time is on the right (lol) side of the dial.

In fact I find the Duometre the ultimate JLC. Of course you have the extreme exception like the Gyro Reverso, but a mortal needs dreams...

That is until the rattrapante comes!

Nicolas my friend! In your picture, like you said, the two together look very consistent & IMO very nice together. Almost like a set. Up until now, these are the only black dial duometres in the duometre family & both being limited edition. You already kn... 

However, most people underestimate the technical achievement in the QL's escapement-dedicated spring and how the seconds can be re-set while the balance wheel is still in-play. We've never really talked about this achievement. -Dean
