Jaeger Lecoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet.

44 mm ceramic case, for this black version of the Deep Sea Chronograph. I had it on loan for an on the wrist review in 2013 or 2014.

I had several Jaeger Lecoultre on loan, this one was not the one which caused me too much pain when giving it back to the Manufacture. For example, the Tribute To Reverso Red and the Duometre UTT made me regret not being able to keep them with me. Same for the Extreme Lab II. And to a lesser extent, the Polaris Memovox Mariner.

No, this one was a good summer companion, but this is not the watch I would have liked to keep. I am not too fan of black cased watches, I must say. And I found it too " clinical ".

It brings back to some good memories, though.

Nicolas

I really enjoy the design and overall look of tool watches, and this piece has that almost pure quality. I understand what you mean about the colour, but this timepiece, I feel, from your photos (at least) has a somewhat respectable balance. It is huge th...

It was my dream chrono for a long time, such a great watch! On a separate note cermet looks to be another dud, I recently came across a cermet case with a crushed case side, the case hadn't cracked but looked bad.

I suspect it was dropped

I love the checker board pattern on the push pieces. Typical for JLC to focus on the details. The dial had a interesting grain texture to it as well. Sweet watch; thanks for posting!!🙏

Yes, a reminder of that...
