though even there, the Octo Finissimo range arguably represents the refinement of design language established by (and purchased with) Genta over a decade ago. You're very right to point out that technically, Omega continues to advance its offerings, while remaining modestly priced. The same could be said of Zenith, but I do wish that the design of the Defy series, where most of the technical advances are being introduced, looked just a little less like Hublot. I'm with you on hopes for JLC, and I have to wonder how much of the brand's current midrange design stasis is dictated from above. 🧐 (At least Bulgari's stuff doesn't look like Hublot! 😁)
