I've checked mine

... and discovered a somehow similar mark. I do have the same mark, but only about 1/3 circle. Under the loupe I can tell that this is not on the dial but appear to be on the inner face of the crystal !!!???!!!
My most plausible hypothesis (although very surprising) would be that the tip of the minute hand is (or has been) in contact with the crystal and left a scratch or a mark on the coating. That sounds weird but the spacing between the top hand and the crystal should be very small on those ultra thin. I'm now wondering if it is a known issue at JLC, present on a wider scale or just an isolated problem. Maybe Nico would know who to ask...
I'm also wondering how JLC customer service will handle this.

Have you noticed the circle that I am seeing on the dial? (centered and with a radius of about the length of the minutes hand). What is it? Optical effet?

LOL, sad but true 🤣😂 [nt]

Sorry to be late to this thread but I thought I should add my 2 cents worth. The mark was between the 5 and the 8. As dms says it was apparently caused by the tip of the minute hand touching the glass. I took it to JLC boutique for service and they seem t...

I have not brought mine to the boutique yet as it does not bother me that much and it’s not yet time for a full service. I am sure the fix consist in changing the glass which is not part of the regular service. Now I am surprised that JLC charged you sinc...
