Jaeger-LeCoultre

Yeah, not a popular model in this forum or anywhere for that matter because it really is very plain looking watch. In fact, it looks really dull compare with my other attention grabbing APs, Rolex or Pateks or even JLC's own Duometre. There is no brightly polished shiny case, no elaborate dial works, no sharp looking hands, no spinning seconds etc. It's just a simple, time + date watch that could very well to the untrained eye be mistaken for a timex. But, here lies it's attractivveness, that there is a kind of plain, understated elegance to it. This watch is all about "inner beauty". The true second movement reminds me with each ticking second that the watch features a sophisticated movement seldom found in other watches of this price range. It allows me when wearing it to be reminded that what a watch is after all supposed to do what it should do, tell time. I particular love wearing this watch when I have a long day, want to focus on work and don't like the distraction of my other time pieces.

Here's the obligatory pic. That's about the best I can do in shooting this watch. biggrin
