I got mine since End of October 2008.
The first was delivered in September 2008, in RG, and a friend of mine bought it.
I picked the platinum version, and AFAIK, 2 others were sold in Paris, 1 is still available in Paris, others in Asia, too.
I absolutely love this Chrono Foudroyante.
For its esthetic, and its original movement.

Yep, Tim, not nice, indeed.
But the very first were delivered in September 2008, only. It's a complex movement, and JLC needed time to make it reliable. But I guess it won't make you happier to know it, as it is really a long time to wait, a TOO LONG time. Best, my friend. Nicolas

You're right of course....better to be delivered a bit late and to have been fully sorted by JLC first. I'm relatively philosophical about it...being used to the long Patek waiting times helps!! I'm sure I'll enjoy it when it arrives. Tim

mine too. I heard there is some reliability issues which JLC is working on. But I am sure it'll be worth the wait. Jean

Now all is ok, but it's not possible to make a lot of these movements in a short time, so it requires a long time, if you want to do it well.... Of course, I perfectly that the wait is a pain, but imagine your reaction when your AD will inform you that YO...

Waiting is hard but what's not hard in our lives. lol BTW, do you know why JLC recently makes YG LEs only, no RG LEs or WG LEs (e.g., Duometre and new Grande Tradition Tourbillon PC)? Is it because of declining YG popularity? Best, Jean

Yes, I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of a 68 Polaris, I'm told it should be anytime now! I will do my best to contribute in the future but compared to the knowledge existing on this forum, I am an amateur at best.
