But once you drive a mid-engined car on the track, you won't want a rear engined 911. Yes, the 991 generation and later is/are A LOT BETTER and it's almost impossible to spin the car than the 997 and prior generations. But mid-engined is just so much better. As someone who has driven Porsche 911s on the track, I was a Porsche-phile. And never having owned a Ferrari nor really driven one very much, I was a "Trend-following Ferrari Fan" just by convention. But after I drove the Lamborghini, researched the reliability, I became a Lamborghini lover. Porsche says "there is no substitute" as their motto. I disagree.
