Welcome here, firstly!
Well, I will try to make it short, but complete.
1/ The MC Memovox was released first in 2002, and discontinuedin 2008, if I remember it well.
When it was released, some of its elements were clearly inspired by the Polaris, the internal bezel, the shape of the numbers and indexes, the volume of the watch ( 0,5 mm smaller, though ).
In fact, it was presented as the heir of the Polaris.
It houses the Caliber 918, which is very reliable and accurate.
The only little thing is that the date can't be set quickly, as you have to move the hands from 10 PM to 3 AM and backwards, to do so, and that you will sometimes hear the hammer of the alarm, after it rings, but to stop this noise, you just have to change the alael hour, and give it one or two turns.
I would say that these small things make the charm of this watch.
2/ As said, no problems with reliability.
My opinion?
Yes, it is indeed a watch to consider.
An advice; Ask you seller if the watc has recently be serviced, and if the water resistance has been checked.
I suppose that you consider having some water activities with it, and like with all diving watch, the water resistance has to be checked every year.
Best, and please, keep us updated!
