I know no serious diver uses just a watch etc etc but
ISO or not, Useless bezel - screw crown is a showstopper. I use my diving bezels 5-10x a day. Having to unscrew/rescrew a crown to do this is ridiculous. As mentioned above you cannot do this underwater to time stops and less likely do it with gloves...... It's already a one way ratchet for ISO, so screw crown not needed. The other crowns are not screwed.
This is a really really disappointing discovery. I wonder if anyone at JLC actually thought through this watch from a use perspective.
The bracelet has no diving extension features whatsoever. I see it is supplied with a rubber strap.... so does it come with quick release function to swap easily or do you have to carry your spring bar tool to the quayside? and multiple sets of spring bars for the inevitable - PING...... splosh.
The movement choices.... One thing to have the archaeological Memovox in there for one model, but JLC should have deployed something to take on the real competition for the Mariner date and gone all out for a proper diver. And antimagnetic performance.
Allied to cost cutting measures like pin bracelets and tungsten rotors with the eye watering price it's a real disappointment.
It's easy to hit the standard like ISO 6425 from a spec point of view - less so to make a real product. Considering all the ambassador b*llocks they waste time on, they could have at least engaged a real diver and developed something more than these diver shaped wristwatches.
