JLC has all the parts to service this movement, which is indeed the Cal 916. No problem with that.
The plexy should not be an issue.
The E 875 sounds like a cricket, or a frog, as you want. The Cal 918 of the Amvox I and Master Compressor Memovox sounds like a school bell, indeed.
The volume of both alarms is equivalent.
At the end, it is just a matter of taste. You can't go wrong, the charm and soul of a vintage, or the modern and charming Amvox One. It is up to you. I owned and still own both vintage and moderns, for my greatest pleasure.

Tpo bad here in my country its very difficult to find. Buying from chrono24 , the price + tax is unfortunately out of my budget.
