Nicolas, thanks for the second opinion. The ref on the back seemed weird as did the quality of the finish. While I am generally against posting comments about auction pieces, in this case I think to actual raise this particular item in this discrete forum... 

check the watches posted on their site... The number of fake watches is so important that I don't get that they authorize such postings... This is a very serious problem. Best, Nicolas

Apart from collecting reversos and repeater pocket watches, I collect roman coins of the imperatorial period. The problem with fakes on ebay is so bad, the coin community run a forgery alert group where a list of sellers are named and past fake types are ... 

do monitor very rarely and there are many fake ones there As you always said, buy the seller, not the watch on any site..... Cheers
