Another very interesting watch which is 35 years old now ( 1987 ). This one is in platinum ( 36 mm case ), limited to 250 pieces. The special feature is that the perpetual calendar can be set through the crown, only. The first modern perpetual calendar fr...

This is NΓ©o-vintage at its best

This watch is indeed quite significant as it was the first foray of JaegerLeCoultre into complicated wristwatches. The Odyseus case, now looked from a 35 years future, has developped a new timeless appeal I think.

extraordinary piece

Brainy complication and sensual case lines

Yes. Which is very helpful.

Makes you wonder why all perpetual calendar watches are not set through crown only. I know a big part of it is the quick set function but those little dimples on the side case are not attractive, this is a clean watch. Thanks for posting

Very interesting.

Actually the same principle as with the IWC Da Vinci invented by Kurt Klaus. As far as I can remember, the Da Vinci 1st generation was introduced to the market in 1985. Could it be that Klaus' inventions found their way here at JLC? Maybe through a licens...

Yes, in the beginning JLC used the same caliber, but the deal was,...

I honestly feel that JLC is missing a good product management team in recent times, they've all technical bricks but lack clarity ? - if I may say so. I didn't know this reference earlier, thanks for sharing ! Best, mahesh.,

Wow - awesome !
