Went to see these two yesterday at one of the HK boutiques
They are on a tour through Hong Kong.
I like both of them and admire JLC prowess in continually creating new movements. Sizes are good at 40mm.
The calendar chronograph is very nice. I would call it classic in design. The calf strap makes it feel more sporty I suppose, but honestly I think it would be better on alligator.
The limited edition memovox dial is striking and they have kept the number of pieces somewhat scarce (vs other limited editions) at 250.
The downside is the pricing. Used to paying for precious metal at these retail prices. I suppose movement development and small numbers (on the alarm piece) somewhat drive this.
Still deciding. The chronograph estimated delivery is Sept. The Memovox in early 2021.

Always hard to choose, I think I would go for the M.C.C.C
Both serve different purpose, but on the day the MCCC offers more functions and it’s a classic too. If It ends to be your pick too, I agree with with you, on another strap. Good luck in this existing time for you.
