Two great pieces, but I very much concur with your choice for your marvellous MMR !

Also, I find the dial on the PC/ Pt skeletonized somewhat difficult to read.
BTW: great pic of the two, needless to say..

And I also confess, I really love your MMR/ Ti, which I once several years ago,
had the immense pleasure to wear for several hours..
And in addition I find the ALS Emil Lange Moon Phase an absolutely superb watch,
so sublime

An old wrist shot of a watch I liked a lot: Jaeger Lecoultre Master 8 Days Perpetual Skeleton, platinum.

Unveiled in 2007, bought in 2009, traded in 2010 for a Lange 1815 Moon Phase Emil Lange. Why did I trade it? Because it was too close to my Master Minute Repeater Titanium, otherwise I would have kept it. Both... Best, Nicolas ...

I totally thought....

at first glance that it was your MMR . From my perspective, you made the right choice. The MMR is the more unique-interesting complication. Cheers, Filip

I am hunting for one

.... as so often, based on your pictures! I think it would make a nice pair with the MMR. Best Andreas

I would pick the MMR as well

Visually stunning. But legibility?

A little difficult for me to read. I have a similar issue with very small subdials on "classic" perpetual calendars, so maybe it matters not. Beautiful, without question.

Gorgeous piece!

First time I’ve seen this and wow didn’t know Jlc made this beauty.

Both show in an impressive way what JKL is able to do.

But like you I prefer the MR. Not only regarding the dial. So for me you did the right decision to keep it.

Merci, Thomas.

I can see why you traded it

Both are great superior watches but the ALS brings more diversity to your collection.

Merci my dear Jurry.

Two heavyweights. Are the cases the same size?

I too find the Perpetual hard to read but that is solely based on the photos above. I will say, my first thought was that it’s an unusual trade, this Perpetual out and the Emil in. Unusual insofar as visually it’s hard to understand the same person would ...

Thanks, O.
