Are the spring bars on WG Duometres made of steel or gold?
I broke a spring bar and thought I’d check before replacing it with a generic steel spring bar. Thanks.

Fairly soft but JLC Boutique is the best place to go for this.
Don't know about JLC put Patek use springbars made from same material as the watch case.
Maybe just try a magnetic on one to test?
Stainless won’t attract unless it’s poor quality
Unless the whole spring bar is light enough to be attracted by the internal spring and the magnet is strong enough.
Not only the material but the quality and fit is important
