Jaeger-Lecoultre Tribute To Polaris 1968 / Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm US. Which is the King of Cool among these 2?

 By: amanico : January 27th, 2019-11:31
Most probably one of the coolest modern Jaeger-Lecoultre, as cool as the vintage can be. The Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm is faithful to the original, more sensual, maybe, but cooler than the Polaris? Let's vote! Best, Nicolas ...

My vote goes to the Tribute...

... with the original hands .

Quite right

I meant "the original's hands".

Aaah, ok. ;) [nt]

Deep Sea is my choice

The period design, graphics and size make it a winner.

DSA for me

 By: Mr.Gatsby : January 27th, 2019-12:19
But the Polaris is not far off. I think the overall wrist presence is perfect with the DSA. The size is great, and that dial — one of a kind. I find it to be one of the best remakes ever done by JLC

Very tough call

Would I have to put my money down though...no contest. The Polaris. It is unique

BOTH for me...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : January 27th, 2019-12:22
but if push comes to shove I would have to choose the Tribute for all the features already discussed.

I’ve the first one and prefer the second among the two.

Life is hard isn’t . What I appreciate in The Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm is the thinnest

Tribute to Polaris for me

Though be very happy with either! Cheers JML

Polaris!

I like the lack of date on the Deep Sea, but otherwise Polaris all the way. Striking dial!

DSA [nt]

 By: aperna : January 27th, 2019-16:14

I am torn between the two.

 By: DSF : January 27th, 2019-17:33
TT Polaris is a better everyday watch, with the date and internal rotating bezel. It will be the one I choose to wear. The DSA US is more special thanks to the unique alarm disk. It will be the one to collect. If I really have to choose one ..... ummmm th...

Both are nice

I actually got the 50th anniversary Polaris Memovox that was released last year. However, the European Dial DeepSea Alarm was the second runner up.

Tie for me

   ...

I have to revise my judgment and it is final. the Polaris is the most beautiful

 By: Tyo : January 5th, 2020-03:58
Owning both of the full line up is maybe the way to go ...

Timely question!

 By: kkochheiser : January 5th, 2020-12:31
I've been looking at both and trying to reach a decision. Eventually, both will have to be the answer but, at least for today the nod goes to the Polaris. Kent
