With the plethora of different iterations of this iconic watch, I was wondering what are people's personal favourites, new or old? I have spent more time than I care to recollect drooling over some of the complications - the 65eme chronograph, the Eclipse...

Your trio of Reversos is stunning. In addition to the London LE, I have a big weak spot for the Seconde Centrale as well.

The Tribute Ultra-Thin case doesn't appeal to me as much as I would have expected. I like my Reversos a little more bulbous, I guess! Though, hard as it is to believe, this watch is shorter lug-to-lug than the Tribute Ultra-Thin is. Here's my current #1, ...  

Interesting about the size and height issue. While much may be down to individual preferences in this regard, I also think the rectangular shape of this watch makes it particularly sensitive to not only wrist size but also wrist shape.

Is anyone else pondering JLC's choice of using alpha hands on some of the most recent versions of the Reverso, including the Burgundy shared by Amanico above? In a rectangular watch the risk is always that the hands will look too short when in the vertica...

I came to the party too late (2014); by the time I discovered the watch, they were no longer available. Only 100 were made, as I recall. I called JLC Boutique and 800 customer service to see if they could locate one buried at some remote boutique, but ala... 

I understand your frustration. There should be 200 in total - 100 with black and 100 with brown strap. Rare but nut in the league of the London and certain other special editions. Saw one on chrono24 just a few days but checking again it is now gone.

I mention this in case anyone does a future Google search trying to find the two different reference numbers. (The 2011 has the black stamped-”2011” Fagliano strap.) - A.N.

My apologies, and thank you Remarque for finding the error in my posting above. (That mistaken reference number was for the burgundy Tribute Small Seconds.). So actually both the 2011 and 2012 versions of the TT 1931 have the SAME reference number, though...

Yes it’s also very beautiful and desirable Reverso in my books. Let’s hope that JLC read here and bring out some pleasant surprise in 2021 for 90th Anniversary Reverso that resonates our feelings.

This subdial looks like comparing to their current "modern" small seconds.

I also like the unusually slender minute hand. 1948 must have been a good year!

The combo of the textured dial and applied indices adds enormous depth to the dial (much like the 2016 duo) in a way that my own tribute doesnt have. First time I notice the hands - looks like the same hands used on some of the classic and GT models?

Yes, I was told that it was indeed the last one sold, all the more astonishing since I'm in Hawaii and everything was done via email with regard to the acquisition.

The verso side, showing the lovely decorated movement, is so attractive that I’d never view the recto. “The time? Why it’s— OMG look at that movement! Isn't that beautiful? Uhhhh, sorry, i got distracted. What was your question?” Ano ”Easily distracted by... 

I think this is one of the best reverso dials - the contrast on the greys makes it seem six feet deep. But I often (more so than not?) wear it verso-up ;-)

That is a very rare bird as well - 50 pieces if memory serves. I am a huge fan of enamel dials and your picture really brings out the depth of the guilloche - lucky you!
