A nearly identical JLC clock is shown in my vintage 1939 NY World's Fair watch catalog. Don't have the catalog scanned yet, or I would post pictures.

JLC Skeleton Clock

I got this about a year or so ago. The acrylic case is in pretty bad condition. Not from miss-use, but from the affects of the sweltering heat . However the movement was and is still in a good condition. It just needs the attention of the watch(clock)make...
Thank you Patrickmaniac..

For me it's the other way round. I see the golden bridge and it reminds me of the JLC skeleton clock. Here in Kolkata, more than the heat, it's the humidity which kills. But at times the temp could touch as high as 41 Celcius. Greetings
Very nice Edward

The hands are unusual. It's a pity there arent modern versions of the JLC baguette clocks.
Thank you Damien.

The hour hand looks like an oriental eyes. The minute one looks like one from outer space. Greetings
I can't be sure but you could

consider trying the polish they use for swatch watches on the case. Just be careful around the JLC engraving as that may rub off.
intersting hands...
