$15,600 is a pile of cash for a watch with a pretty basic alarm. You can pick up a GO Senator Diary used in steel for under ten grand, and that has both 24-hour and full-month setting modes to alert you any time of day up to 31 days in advance. As much as I've loved JLC over the years, the GO seems like a better option. You really need to *love* the look of the JLC over and above functionally superior options or be wedded to the impressive JLC warranty offer in order to make this call in the Memovox's favor.

I had the opportunity too a month ago
but gave it a miss as I could hardly hear the alarm. The boutique manager did say that it had travelled around the world and was probably not working as well as it should have. I was not convinced. Lovely dial though.
That's a very good point! There are frequencies some individuals can hear or miss. Sham1, not that I meant you miss certain frequencies, do not get me wrong.

If you can justify the price tag for yourself (I could not) then go for it.
