How did you rate the finishing? How close
To the big 3, and Lange, did they get with this one?

At one time I also wanted to get the dato original to make "a set", but on the other hand I would want to save the money for something that looks more differently....... not an easy decision...
With JLC you get
A LOT MORE MOVEMENT, a lot less finishing. Personally, the fantastic movements trump insane finishing so I am okay with this. On the other hand, you would never want to pay big money for a time only JLC if finishing is a priority.

Well, it depends. Take for example a Duometre movement compared to a Patek 240 HU. The prices are the same, or almost, and I find the finishings better on the Duometre.
Other than that, I agree, it is quite well put. Best, Nicolas
