But I believe the majority of results have been weak for a while now, the Geneva auction being the exception. There were many great timepieces to be had at good prices in the Phillips auction. I would guess there are many disappointed sellers to deal with...
I say that from looking at the things I look at, so of course that may not be an accurate observation as a whole. I did also just look through the Sothebyβs results. It seemed like lots of lots passed, and for the stuff I look at the prices were weak.
