...that I‘d keep the hands. I like the more sporty and modern look. It‘s already a very nice piece in any case. This is what JLC really excels at imho. Daniel
Hmm, I'd Change something else

While I'd Support some of your changes ( e.g. going Manual wound) and disagree with one (going from 39 to 38mm), there's something more important for me. I Had it on my wrist and what kept me away from buying it was the Chosen blue colour. It's too flashy...

I would not change as much as suggested for instance Iwould: - keep the hands as is because in my view they match perfectly with the hour markers - I wouldn’t mind keeping it as an automatic - would go to 38 mm - wouldn’t want to lose the seconds sundial ...

On this one I would also make it smaller and move to a manual movement (with sub-seconds!), but keep the Dauphine hands, and I would do something about the indexes at twelve o’clock - which have always felt ‘wrong’ to me; I believe they would benefit from...
For me

I'd keep the hands. Everything else, agree wholeheartedly. With that thin bezel, too much dial. And that incredibly bright dial keeps it from being anything but casual wear for me. Then again, I rarely dress up anymore, anyhow! ...
Has this been replaced?

I just looked it up on JLC website. The MUT small seconds shown there is 39mm with an automatic movement. That version seems to have an applied logo, and hour markers of a uniform length which is much nicer. (On the watch in your picture I dislike particu...
