Same age as my father. The modern JLC Master line must take some inspiration from the Futurematic line, but naming a line as the Pastmatic did not make it past marketing. One for JLC to holster in the April fools belt, if we can ever stop taking life so seriously.

1951. After the second world war, baby boomers celebrate the victory. Maybe your JLC bought for that purpose. Or a soldier who was brave get it for excellent military service.
