Reverso TT 1931 Advise

 By: JEC : February 25th, 2012-09:40
Hello Everyone. I am new to the forum and this is my first ever post. I have followed along for a while and learned alot. I am trying to decide on a new watch and I have narrowed it down to the Jagaer reverso ultra thin TT 1931 but I am in between the ste...

If you love the stainless steel as much as the rose gold

Then go for the SS... And keep your Yachtmaster, this is a great watch you will regret. The RG is a great watch, but it is the double of the SS price, so, unless you have a big preference for the RG, there is no reason to go for this last one. Don't think...

Makes sense

I am trying to avoid making mistakes and appreciate the advise. I have learned the hard way that you have to be carefull just the same when you buy a watch as much as when you sell a watch. I am a new collector and trying to slowly build on my collection....

The only mistake you can do is a compulsive buy....

Which is the exact opposite of a watch you are durably and madly in love with. This is the only question you have to ask to yourself. Best, Nicolas.

Good advice you provided!

best regards, Baxter

Go for the SS version.

I have the SS version and it is to die for, the black dial is unique. Everything else Nicolas has said is also true. The SS version is discrete and only knowledgable people will recognize, whereas everyone will know you are wearing RG. Best regards, Georg...

SS version

 By: JEC3 : February 25th, 2012-10:42
The SS version is the one that I was truly drawn to because of the look, the simplicity, and history. I think this is the version that most closely resembles the original. It also fit very well. The more I think about it, the more I realize my first choic...

I love the SS version

 By: Watchlover78 : February 25th, 2012-11:25
I bought the SS version in June 2011 after seeing both versions. It is very understated but elegant. I usually do not go for limited version unless the manufacturer made only 10. I do not think it is worth the extra to pay if the limited version is in the...

It would be an easy pick for me,

since I like the SS better. I'd be twice happy: buying the one I like most and paying half the price of the RG.

SS seems to be favored

Looks like an overwhelming consensus on the SS version over the rose gold. Pretty clear choice and it was the option I was leaning towards anyways. After a few months of debating it, looks like I will be adding a new reverso to my collection, TT 1931 in S...

My vote is for the stainless steel if you have to sell one watch.

I was going through a similar dilemma as yours. My case in point is the new Grande Reverso Calendar introduced this year. I had the prices for the stainless steel and the rose gold models but the difference between the two equals the retail price of a sta...

So that is the way you took?

I meant the WAYS! Great decision, my friend. Bravo. Nicolas

Thank you Nicolas for your approval. Basel is just around the corner.

I have to be prepared in case Omega comes out with something that appeals to me this year. But that RG GRC looks very sweet indeed. Perhaps one day at a later stage in life when I finish paying for the house. Priorities, hate them but just have to have th...

New Addition

 By: JEC3 : March 4th, 2012-09:28
My new addition TT 1931... Both my reversos... Here are some pics of my new addition the TT 1931 in SS. Thank you for everyone's advise on the purchase. I simply love it. I also included a pic of my new reverso together to my very first reverso the Sqaudr...
