DESIGNED by Fagliano, but not MADE by Fagliano, I believe.

JLC has created a confusing situation with the straps in the “Fagliano Collection.” All are designed by Fagliano, but not all are made by Fagliano in their Argentina facility. For both the blue and burgundy Tribute To Small Seconds, the descriptions on the JLC website were careful to state that the strap is only “designed by” Fagliano. (That language was later deleted from the description of the burgundy, but it is still present on the blue’s webpage.)
On both my blue and burgundy watches, the strap is stamped, “Made in France,” so it was not made by Casa Fagliano.
For those watches with straps MADE by Fagliano, the JLC website specifically mentions that fact. For example, the ReversoTribute Duoface Fagliano Limited’s description states that the strap is “hand-crafted by the iconic Argentine boot maker, Casa Fagliano.” Without such specific language, a Fagliano Collection strap features the characteristic Fagliano look, but it is likely made by a different entity.
The straps on the blue and the burgundy are still quite nice, though, whoever makes them!

Blue or Burgundy??

Happy Sunday everyone! I know this has probably been discussed before but tastes and opinions change, especially that the burgundy was the star of the JLC 2019 SIHH offering. Also many haven’t had the chance to see it in person as it quickly sold out and ...

They both are beautiful ....

and it really depends how the light catches the dial. A fellow purist posted his burgundy yesterday which appeared like a dark burgundy and I immediately asked my AD if it was a new watch as the colour looked different!

Oops oops ! my bad !

I have never owned a JLC but with these dials, sooner or later, I can see myself owning one!

More unique and as a matter of personal taste I was always drawn to burgundy dial even if I have yet to own one! Either one though look amazing

Both are very cool reversos!

I am very tempted by the Blue that you showed in the photo but I already have another Blue reverso from previous years. I ordered the Burgundy pretty quickly as I love the colour! Like the blue you can have many shades depending on lighting 😄👍 Best of luc...

That blue enamel

is one of the best, always a favorite. The numerals, guilloche and enamel work at perfect. Now that I see it again, it sort of looks like what they are doing on the MUT line- guilloche with blue enamel.

I feel the same my friend

I still remember reading your very thorough review after the first release of this watch ! And I found it again here: www.watchprosite.com Much appreciated!

WOW

The burgundy looks absolutely stunning in your pics! and that blue guilloche enamel is one of the sexiest Reversos made! Thanks for the pics! btw, are the straps on your Burgundy reverso made by Casa Fagliano?

thank you for kind comment my friend..

Yes the strap is from Fagliano and it comes with the watch too ! JLC had thoroughly thought this one out Best of health

Same dilemma

 By: Arronax : April 19th, 2020-06:35
I tried both. I love blue, it's one of my favorite colors and I am at peace with the purple-ish tones of the blue dial but I would choose burgundy purely based on legibility and ease of telling time. I find it more difficult to read time with the blue dia...

For me clearly the Burgundy.

So many blue watches around these days. The Burgundy is so special ….

You hit the nail on the head!

 By: TheWindingStem : April 19th, 2020-16:42
I wish they had released both at the same time instead of having me buy the blue and then seeing the red come out the next month! 😂

True. ;) [nt]

 By: amanico : April 19th, 2020-22:19

I would go for the red

But at the end of the day, get what speaks to you the most. It’s you that are wearing the watch.

Thanks bud! [nt]

Burgundy Reverso - different colors with the same lighting, only the angle changes

 By: Ano Nuevo : April 19th, 2020-12:08
From an earlier post... I’ve got the blue, too. If I had to choose just one (Agony!) I’d choose the burgundy because it is so beautiful and less often seen in a dial than is the blue. Both are handsome watches, of course. Ano “A harsh but fair judge” Nuev...

yours photos do this watch justice!

I would totally go for the Burgundy based on your second photo alone! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the beautiful demonstration!

My vote is Blue...

But I find both choices to be very compelling. I'm glad JLC continues to release strong and fresh designs, while staying true to the underlying Reverso DNA.
