Jaeger Lecoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 Blue Steel. Some real pictures.

4 months ago, I reviewed the Master Ultra Thin Moon Steel Blue, solely based on the official pictures I received. Here is the link on this review: www.watchprosite.com My first feelings were positive. At the point I started to wonder which one I p...

Both are elegant and classy pieces...

No pretentiousness here, ask most Patek Philippe owners what makes a Patek Philippe special, they won't know. "Uhh, heritage, brand prestige, accuracy, complications, and almost all their watches are encased in gold," was a response at a dinner before the...

Blue as well :)

Because dark blue is the color of the night-sky as seen by the human eye , plus, just as you point out, the blue has noticeably more depth in different light. That's exactly why I always much preferred candid watch pictures than the processed press shots ...

Blue for me. A really nice watch.

The Master Moon has to be one of JLC’s most successful watches. But I’ll never buy another JLC with an automatic movement until they get rid of the terrible ceramic ball bearings noise.

Tie! Thanks, John.

Blue for me

It adds a bit of dynamism with how it looks in the light.

Which dial, mon ami?

Ah, sorry, blue dial!

I chose the blue dial and put the blue strap on it. ...

Since it’s a Master Moon…

…I’d like to see the moon be the ‘star’ of the show. Plus I love two-tone : )

Ha! Good, all good!

Both are great 👏

IMHO, both are great colours. For me, i would decide based on my collection colours, if i have predominantly one or the other dial colour, and decide accordingly. If i have to decide today, i would pick blue for the above reason.

👍

It's just a matter of taste.

 By: MTR : March 14th, 2022-07:14
So there can't be an objective decision here. Although I'm a bit saturated with what feels like „thousands“ of blue dials we've seen over the years from different brands, here I'm still more inclined towards the blue dialed version. For me simply the more...

Nice but unfortunately too clinical for me

It’s a fact that JLC improve the feeling of quality… but I find that this improvement was made at the expense of softness and poetry. There is something very/too cold for me. It's still a nice model but not for me... and I say that regardless of what I ma...

Sorry to waffle but

For me I’d really want to see the blue in person to assess the depth and complexity of the color, which can be difficult to see in photos. But based on the photos, I like this blue and would probably pick it.

Blue for me .
