Crosshairs for me!

Aug 17, 2019,23:38 PM

I love the white textured dial but as noted it is quite a large expanse and the crosshairs just make it a bit more interesting. I agree that a manual movement would be more true to the original but it doesn’t worry me as the movement is not visible. I find that only disadvantage to wearing it daily is the time I spend looking at it in the office!

Jaeger Lecoultre Tribute To Geophysic: Which one do you prefer? The Steel Crosshairs or the Platinum?

Steel Crosshairs: Or the platinum? Aaah, I know some of you will focus on the wrist... So, let's vote for the watch, not the wrist. Best, Nicolas ...

Both great watches but I prefer the Steel Crosshairs dial.

I like crosshairs on a dial but some are too thick. These are just right. Regards Kev.

1-1. Thanks, Tyo. [nt]

I would take the steel version.

Steel crosshairs for me

Just a near-perfect watch. Great size, clean but interesting dial...NO date. My only quibble is that I wish JLC used a special movement for this piece. Hand wound movement would have been terrific. The rose gold version is very nice too. Cheers, John

Steel for me, but both look great

Steel cross hairs for me...

When the TTG was announced in 2014, these were the major issues: 1) Lack of manual wind central second movement, thus the revised stock movement sans date 898/1, adjusted to a tighter tolerance. 2) Size: at 38.5mm case, a modern size however due to the mi...

You don't have to be saddened, M. Jaeger Lecoultre reads us, that's for sure. But, as far as I know, they don't contact members to discuss the directions to be taken. From time to time,

I have some informations, but they are confidential. To have such discussions, you need to build a faithful / trustful relation, and it takes time. A long time. So don't be sad! As for your remarks on the TT Geophysic, you summed its pros and cons very we...
