birth of the first icon
the drawing you show for the original patent submitted by alfred chauvot shows no 159982 in the top right corner
but i understand from jaeger lecoultre's own list of filed patents the original french patent for -reverso patent- was no 712868 submitted on 4/3/1931
with two supplements no 40330 and 41060 submitted on 27/5/1931 and 21/11/1931.
the original patent was bought by cesar de troy on the 25/7 1931 from alfred chauvot
and the granting of the patent was not until 1934
please advise as to patent your drawing no 159982 fits into these time lines

was the perfect platform to the build up and campaign of the 90th launch. JLC corporate communications really missed that ship with hardly any focus on the significance of this date
