The one that I will never forget was my original 5000 aka 2000 which was 50 minutes ahead when I woke up one morning. These movements were extremely erratic when they first came out and even Schaffhausen could not figure out. That said, there are plenty in circulation right now and I don't see anyone having serious issues. IWC must have redesigned and reworked these movements.

How is the accuracy? Way back when the 5001 was introduced, I had two of them and they were both grossly innacurate.

I am within +4 sec a day so within iwc 0 -+7 sec a day. [nt]

Except for my original 5002, I had nothing but bad luck with all my other 7-day movements.

Sorry to read that, the eonly time mine was off was when i let the power reserve unwind completely, after which it was to fast for a few weeks but then it turned stable again. really strange if you ask me. [nt]
